Can a 16 yr old self discharge from Eating disorder/cahms? Or will there be legal consequences like sectioning

From what I recall about mental capacity and teens, 16&17 yos can consent to treatment, but they cannot refuse it. At 18 you can refuse treatment.

The court can intervene if refusing treatment at 16 is likely to have significant health impacts, which I assume declining treatment for an eating disorder could have.
