Stupidly went for a shower earlier with 5 y/o DS watching tv
Were in a flat so I can see him, he is ND.

Came out of the bathroom to find he’s been in my work bag, opened my paracetamol capsules and all the powder is on the floor. I didn’t even realise my work bag was on the floor.

I don’t think he’ll have eaten any of it, he said no but I am still so panicked. There was a lot of the powder.

Anyone advise?

Glad all is fine 😊

Glad his levels were fine, but you were absolutely right to take him in. Paracetamol overdose can be so nasty, but is treatable if seen promptly, so was well worth not taking the risk.

Glad he is ok. But you did the right thing taking him to be checked.

Great news.

You won't get any hassle from social services. My 2 year old ate ibuprofen once while we turned our backs on her from a few minutes. Just a short lecture from the A&E doctor to keep a closer eye on her.

Glad everything’s ok, now relax and enjoy your day with him and I hope your headaches gone x
