Has anyone bought one of these digital products that are making Tiktokers £100s while they drink their coffees and frolic in meadows with their children?

What digital product?

Kinneddar · 09/05/2025 16:25

I've bought things on TT shop but no idea what digital things you're talking about.

Haven't seen much meadow frolicking on TT either

They make their money from selling courses teaching you how to make and sell digital products, they don’t make money from the digital products they claim to sell.

I don’t know about digital products but it annoys me that most Tiktokers seem to flog things these days. I don’t want to see adverts every other video when I’m wasting my time scrolling on TikTok!

What digital product?

They never tell you exactly what it is, but if you buy it, it will teach you how to sell... something (maybe a training course in selling digital products?) and then you too will lead a life of leisure and luxury like them.

Its the meta version of multi level marketing.
Its on all social media
Its disgusting and needs to be banned, but since all the reverse funnel companies are still trading and people are still buying in despite MASSIVE amounts of bad publicity then what really can be done

suzym1984 · 09/05/2025 20:07

I’ve often wondered what on earth they are selling ?!
is it a course teaching people how to sell the course, and to more people to sell the same course?

Yep. Someone I know keeps posting about this.

And please can someone explain to me the travel agency thing? I’ve got two “influencers” I followed because they were normal mums with normal jobs but beautiful houses - and now this is all they go on about. Ready to unfollow.

Yeh but really, can anyone explain it to me?

I'm sure most of them don't have the money they like to make out they do, anyone can go somewhere nice or fancy for a day, take tons of photos or videos at different angles. You can go to a department store and rent out bags/clothes. There's even a fancy hotel in Paris that allows you to do a photoshoot there for an hour, and in LA you can get studios that look like private jets to hire out.
I wouldn't be surprised if they spend a few days somewhere making endless content and spread it on their social medias over the course of some months so reality looks much better.
Some influencers so genuinely have family money but the majority are not what it seems. Plus AI is pretty impressive now, you can cultivate any image you want if you have the skills and know how
