I wouldn't buy it. Yes I would say it was inappropriate. But lots of people will buy it for their child thinking it's cute.

Anddrumrollplease · 08/05/2025 21:19

Yuck. But I remember having a t shirt that said “babe” on the front when I was 11.

SkibbityBap · 08/05/2025 21:20

Isn't it just an easter/spring tshirt?

Am I missing something?

Apparently, not sure what though.

Ive googled to double check there’s not another meaning and it’s not coming up with anything bad?

Loomy · 08/05/2025 21:26

No idea what the issue is here

SeeMyReflection · 08/05/2025 21:26

What does it mean that’s an issue? It’s means similar to sweetheart where I’m from.

Atarin · 08/05/2025 21:26

Oh dear, I call my children ‘honey bunny’! I didn’t realise it was wrong!!

Pleasantsort · 08/05/2025 21:26

Yuck. The worst I ever seen for wee girls was " Future WAG".

The bunny ears with one bent over is very similar to the playboy logo. Their models were called playboy bunnies, so I can see why it could be considered distasteful.

BritBratGrot · 08/05/2025 21:27

It's quite clearly designed to look playboy bunny esque is style so IMO OP YANBU

AlrightTrouble · 08/05/2025 21:27

I mean, I’m getting a slight Pulp Fiction reference but I’m middle aged as fuck, beyond that I don’t think it’s all that bad?

Wolfpa · 08/05/2025 21:28

People may be associating it with the Playboy Bunnies but that is very much in the eye of the beholder.

Personally I think it if just an Easter top

AlrightTrouble · 08/05/2025 21:28

Oh! Did not get the Playboy reference at all. 😅

ArtTheClownIsNotAMime · 08/05/2025 21:28

I had a Playboy bunny pencilcase in year 7. I thought it was cute. Now I think it's creepy af that Playboy stuff is marketed to children.

IfYouPutASausageInItItsNotAViennetta · 08/05/2025 21:28

It's not the Playboy bunny or anything, is it? Yes, it's a bit twee; but how is it inappropriate? Am I missing something?

Newyearnewmewoooop · 08/05/2025 21:28

It’s cute!

Howmuchlongeruntilwegetthere · 08/05/2025 21:28

I wouldn’t buy it - I associate bunny ear logos with playboy. Evidently people do buy it or they wouldn’t stock it. Each to their own. It’s not even close to the worst girls t shirts I’ve seen.

IfYouPutASausageInItItsNotAViennetta · 08/05/2025 21:29

Pleasantsort · 08/05/2025 21:26

Yuck. The worst I ever seen for wee girls was " Future WAG".

Apart from the obvious grimness, why is a single individual aspiring to be both a wife AND a girlfriend?!

ArtTheClownIsNotAMime · 08/05/2025 21:29

Playboy logo for reference.

It’s nothing like the playboy bunny logo though. 🫤

Atarin · 08/05/2025 21:32

ArtTheClownIsNotAMime · 08/05/2025 21:29

Playboy logo for reference.

Exactly, that looks nothing like the logo on the t-shirt!

I think the Playboy bunny is very ‘of an era’ and most younger people wouldn’t associate with that now.

Bfmamma · 08/05/2025 21:32

I would normally not take much notice and walk past it but I guess the issue is more that honey bunny is a twee pet name for a partner.
I wouldn't say it's hinting towards playboy though
@AlrightTroubleim getting pulp fiction too 🤣

sheknowsitstoolate · 08/05/2025 21:32

ArtTheClownIsNotAMime · 08/05/2025 21:29

Playboy logo for reference.

Not similar then or is anything with two bunny ears too much like playboy?

Supporthelittleguys · 08/05/2025 21:33

Yeah it’s tacky and a bit sexualising. I deffo wouldn’t buy it for my 5yo 🥴 saying that I remember aged 12 having a friend with a ‘von Dutch bitch’ t shirt and another that said ‘if you think I’m a bitch you should meet my mother.’ 😂 can’t believe her mum allowed that!
