so a few weeks ago theres a guy i know he started dating somebody at a group iwe both go too the woman has a reputation for flirting and hitting on other guys in the group while shes already in relationships. The guy was warned when he first started dating her I was one of people who warned him but then regretted it as ussually i try and stay out of other peoples business as it can back fire if you get involved. Since then theyre constantly breaking up and getting back together and hes always asking me if i see them at the local allotment (his ex and another guy she was dating before him) i said to somebody else i felt unconfortable with him constantly asking this it felt like he was expecting me to watch them while at allotment now the guy wont speak to me

Well, you’ve just proven your own point, surely — you stuck your nose into someone else’s relationship needlessly, and ended up dealing with hassle because of it. See it as a lesson not to ‘warn’ in future.

masterofdoom · 08/05/2025 09:42

yeah fair point i wasnt the only one that warned him though yet im the one thats getting hassle for it because i wouldnt spy for him

Don't involve yourself if you don't want to be involved

PaintYourAssLikeRembrandt · 08/05/2025 09:44

You stuck your beak in and you're reaping the rewards.

What was the point in warning him about her reputation for flirting in the first place?

masterofdoom · 08/05/2025 09:45

i understand that my point was that others got involved but didnt get an attitude my mistake was telling somebody else i regretted saying anything theyve decided to tell the person and to stir and the bf took exeption because i wouldnt keep an eye on his gf for him him

Keep out of other people’s relationships.

When the bloke asked about her behaviour at the allotment, you should have told him you have no idea, you’re there to garden not monitor his girlfriend’s activities.

You were silly to get involved and then complain to a third party.

They all sound gossipy as fuck.

i always said that i didnt see anything like i said thats the only time ive said anything like that to anyone as i dont like to get involved in other peoples business the only reason i said anything to him was because i got on ok with him and she had a reputation but lesson learned

Agreed. Wgich is why the mention of all this Scarlet Woman With A Reputation behaviour taking place at the allotment is cracking me up.

How old are you - 9? Your behaviour and your stream of consciousness writing style are not suggestive of a mature adult.

yeah just seems strange that im being singled out for doing what others did i dont defend it it was a stupid thing to do but why single one person out when others warned him too as ive said ussually i try not to get involved thats the only time ive done that so im far from a gossip or trouble maker
