Same dad, no miscarriages to ‘break the chain’, if the first 2 are opposite sex, the third will be whatever number 2 was - so BGG, or GBB. Not BGB, or GBG.

It sounds crazy but it’s something I noticed ages ago - every time somebody announces they’re having a third, and they have one of each, I know it will be the same as the second child.

Interesting. I've heard that if you have small age gaps you are more likely to have dc of the same sex because your womb is more welcoming to the sperm of the same sex as the previous occupant. I have 5 boys, eldest is 8 years older than youngest.

If the first two are B/G or G/B, 3rd one will be G or B but if you were 'disappointed' to not get 'one of each' DC3 will be the same as DC1 and DC2.
