Is it possible for someone to access my phone remotely via hacking or some sort of malware and read and view the contents of my phone?

Yes - my friend’s creepy husband has some sort of software that monitors their 16 year old daughter’s phone.

Yes i think it can be done but I don't know how, they would need access to your phone in think though, initially. Hope you're okay xx

Thanks. Could it be installed remotely by someone, without touching phone?

I think you would need to click something to give access.

Yes, but it is unlikely that an amateur would know how to do this. By amateur, I mean someone who hasn't worked in cyber security for a long time. Or is a career hacker.

I asked this question recently of someone who works in cyber security.

He said the someone would have to have physical access to your phone in order to do this. He went on to say that if software existed that could hack someone’s phone remotely, it would be worth millions and whomever invented it would have governments the world over trying to buy it from them. I thought that kind of made sense. Can you imagine if it was that easy to hack someone’s phone remotely? Imagine all the scandal that would be all over the papers from hacking government officials or celebrities or royalty even!

Do you have reason to believe someone is doing this to you?

You would need to click on a link or download something to allow it to happen. What type of phone do you have?

They have touched your phone. Can you give some info about the sort of things happening.

for example, is it adverts linked to things you have spoken about.

is it email content, that can be accessed anywhere.

are you safe?
