Changing my name

No idea on the topic, I’m afraid (it doesn’t seem to fit any of them!)

I am changing my surname by enrolled deedpoll, not due to marriage/divorce but family circumstances. For anyone who has done this before, how long did it take to get the deed poll back? I know changing all docs afterwards will take an age, but just curious about when I will officially have my new name :)

I changed mine, also due to family circumstances. Admittedly, it was a few years ago now, but it took 1-2 weeks at most.

I hope that you fall in love with your new name all over again once you get the honour of answering to it 😊
