I assume being in their underwear boosts their views massively and that equals money and the attention that they desperately crave.

If you don’t like it, don’t watch them? Only people I follow who do them wear normal underwear and potentially control pants etc. and are showing how those fit etc. and what underwear goes with the outfits they’re wearing. Most of their followers are also women. Think it’s pretty obvious who is doing it to show honestly how they get ready and those who are showing their body but either way they can make money however they want and seems incredibly judgmental to be bothered by it.

I don't think it's either watch them semi naked or don't watch them at all. I just don't understand where this genre of literally from bra and pants up has come from.
