To be totally outraged at photo of Trump as Pope

I don’t think I have ever felt the need to start a thread, but the picture of Trump as Pope i just saw on SkyNews is so absolutely incredibly offensive that i just can’t stop myself.

Religion is irrelevant. If he dressed up as King Charles , with ermine robes , crown , orb and sceptre you'd just think ' oh that's just Trump being an arsehole as usual. But not if he did it the week after Charles' funeral. This is the behaviour of a psychopath.

He’s bringing the office of POTUS into disrepute and I don’t understand why so many so called patriotic Americans seem to think that is absolutely OK.

People who are saying its not a big deal or not offensive have lost their minds. He is a US president, ffs, and is posting this crazy shit?

In other news, one of the "senators" in the Land of The Brain Free posted that Vatican should consider Trump as a new Pope as it will be a great idea. Even as a joke, its so weird and crazy.

Exactly this. It's one thing for Uncle Bob to play about with AI and post that photo in the family WhatsApp group. Maybe the family find it funny. But the President of the United States doing it publicly is an entirely different thing.

I’m not offended by the abuse and cover up I’m angry. As I said in one post Pope Francis (and no Catholic is above reproach in regard to abuse). I have also recently made a complaint about a priest wrong doing (not abuse. It very upsetting).

A lot of people stopped believing in Catholicism or God with the abuse. Completely understandable whether or not you were directly affected.

It doesn’t stop me finding this offensive as well. (I’m not saying it should be banned it is part of free speech.)
