I sent an electronic item as ‘satisfactory’ on Vinted fully charged and working - I took a photo of item turned on and working for the listing and checked again right before posting.
Buyer has now suspended order saying it’s not turning on and they have to buy a charger to check it works (separate issue - the listing made no mention of charger being included but said it uses any generic USB-C charger so as far as I see it, this was an assumption of the buyers and my listing was clear that it was the item only and without accessories).
I’ve requested a return for refund but if the item has been damaged in transit, what do I need to do? It was well packaged so I find it very hard to believe it has been damaged to the point of not turning on and working and rather think the buyer is taking the mick. AIBU to ask them to send a video of it not working before posting back or a picture of any damaged packaging or should I just wait for them to return?
