Start by asking chatGPT for ideas. Provide lots of info about what you do and don't like and the area you want to go and budget, and it will give you loads of ideas. I find that a really good place to start.

We were meant to do 3 nts Bangkok, 1 night elephant hills and 10 nts in Khoa Lak 2 adults and 2 kids. It was around £8kish.

We ended up booking 11 nts in the Maldives instead as kids didn't want a city break first. That was more expensive.
