To complain or not, so fed up of bad service online

The last few transactions I've made online have been terrible. I'm not usually someone who complains but here's a round up:

Bought a natural face cream £29 - it caused a reaction, a terrible red sore rash. I contacted the company who won't refund but said for me to fill in a form and send it back and they'll send out exchange products.
Products arrived today- a full size hand cream worth a tenner and 4 sachets of the product I sent back 🙄

Do I contact them again? I'm so annoyed but feel like what's the point?

Etsy: bought a handmade soap that was advertised as 80g - 100g, it was only 70g (I didn't weigh it, the package says 70g) - not that bothered but if I'd known I would have bought two to make the postage worthwhile

Etsy: bought a handmade bag that came damaged because they'd packaged it in just tissue paper and plastic envelope, not even bubble wrap. It also had a part missing from inside the bag. Went back and forth for a while with the seller, getting gaslit and patronised, wasn't getting anywhere so went through Etsy and got a refund.

Sold some things on eBay, one item went missing with Evri, can't get on to them, have reported and asked for a call back 4 days in a row. Have refunded the buyer and don't think I have the strength now to try for compensation off Evri.

I accept that mistakes happen especially when buying from small indie sellers but it's the lack of care and customer service, where we have to fight for refunds or exchanges.

This can't be just me, these things are objectively bad customer service, aren't they?

I was talking to a friend and we've come to the conclusion if money wsng so tight at the moment for me, these things might be annoying but I'd be able to afford to brush them off and not get caught up in trying to get my money back.

Perhaps I should post less on mn and try to earn more money.
