To think that the people who loudly announce they’re “cutting off toxic friends” are the same ones who have endless on-off relationships with terrible men?

I’ve noticed a pattern where the same people who go on about “protecting their peace” and making a big show of cutting off friends are also the ones who can’t seem to let go of disastrous relationships. It’s like they have a revolving door for toxic partners but expect applause when they “finally” ditch a mate for some minor slight.

Is it just me or is there something to this?

In my experience, the ones that are the loudest and proudest about cutting people out of their lives still continue to harass and bully the people they have apparently cut out. Figure that one out

I've found that the people who do this are in fact the toxic people.

Agreed. And are usually cutting people out for being called out on their behaviour
