To ask if you have experience with sertraline, can you help me?

Been taking 50mg of sertraline daily for just over two months. My anxiety got better initially for the first month or so. In the last two weeks I’m getting racing heart etc and all the symptoms I used to get are returning. Spoke to the gp and they suggested a higher dose but now this has happened I am sceptical about whether it is sensible to increase? Surely the fact I was less anxious and now it’s back just suggests the medication isn’t working or have I just got used to it? I’d be grateful for any thoughts on this, I’m so disappointed as I really thought I was getting on top of my anxiety.

Have you tried using other somatic techniques? Or any cbt/therapy?

is your anxiety linked to perimenopause?

I had to change from sertraline as it made me have horrendous stomach problems and I spent most of the time lying on the floor in pain, having the shits or eating hummus as it was the only thing I could stomach. Try a different med, I ended up on prozac
