That does look like a verruca. So consistent bazuka-ing, one of the home freezing treatments, or getting it frozen off by a podiatrist I would think.

ExtraOnions · 28/04/2025 21:21

Looks like Verrucas … they will go on their own eventually (but will take a long time). Keep up with the treatment, but it will take months.

There are many different things you can try. Apple cider vinegar, banana peel, duct tape, black nail varnish, various gels, home freezing things. But one of the main things is to agitated it, once your body has realised there is a virus there it can attack it. While the virus is just existing on the outside of the skin the body doesn't know it's there and won't fight it. So whatever method you choose make sure to file it daily. And be consistent and patient.

I can't see the photo but I had verrucas on my feet, a wart on my knee and a wart on my finger. I tried all sorts to get rid of them. First time I'd had them.

Anyway, had them for about 4yrs. They would not budge. One morning I woke up and, poof! They'd gone! All of them. Not a single trace of any of them to be seen.

It was very odd.

I’ve found wartner more effective than bazooka.

Trumptonagain · 28/04/2025 21:27

As said they do look like verrucas.

My DC had one on their foot and it took a lot of Bazuka and file rubbing until it finally cleared up.

doodlejump1980 · 28/04/2025 21:27

Put a dollop of sudocream on it and cover with a plaster. Repeat daily until it falls off. (About a week-10 days)

Hankunamatata · 28/04/2025 21:28

Good podiatrist can sort verrucas out

Isawthesigns · 28/04/2025 21:28

Oregano oil is good too

greengreyblue · 28/04/2025 21:29

Salycic acid from chemist. Every night, file it down and apply. Cover with plaster. Repeat.

greengreyblue · 28/04/2025 21:30

Salycilic

Wakemeupbe4yougogo · 28/04/2025 21:36

You need to freeze them off. Wartner is the best thing out there but I find it usually takes at least 2 or 3 goes with them.

Pixiedust1234 · 28/04/2025 22:13

Because I have an auto immune condition it meant normal products didn't work on mine so in the end I found a podiatrist who used Swift technology. It is expensive (£100 a session) and it can be painful during the procedure but it's gone after 3 sessions which are a month apart. I think I spent over a £100 on bazuka and duct tape etc anyway. All five verrucas had disappeared by month 3.

cadburyegg · 28/04/2025 22:21

veruca. I had one that looked very similar. Bazuka didn’t do much. Private podiatrist sorted mine. Supposedly some will go by themselves but I had mine for a couple of years and it became painful to walk on.
