Please help! How much gelatine do I use for this panna cotta recipe?

Posting for traffic, sorry about that!

Making panna cotta for tonight as having a couple of friends round. I have bought sachets of Dr Oetker gelatine but the recipe refers to "2 ½ sheets gelatine" - does one sachet equate to one sheet? Or is there no accurate way of knowing?

The sachets I have are 12g if that is important to know. And what is the consequence of using too much gelatine? Will it be hard?

As you might be able to discern, I am very new to cooking!

Is this the BBC good food recipe? If so, I use 9g of the 12g packet
