Does this advert imply that dads need ready meals to make life easier? Why not a male and
female in the picture. smacks a bit because DH chooses easy food ( and doing no essential chores) when he looks after the kids alone and tells me how easy it is. I bite my tongue as would rather this “compromise” than me not getting time away with friends or having to leave step by step instructions for a quick healthy meal.

One of the strangest male incompetence ads was an IKEA one. A grandad looks after his granddaughter but has no clue how to feed her. They have loads of fun making concoctions in the kitchen until he finds a sandwich in the fridge.
