Co-parenting under one roof

Recently separated from my wife. We have one toddler together. We are more so friends than a couple due to both of us changing as people after our son was born. We are currently co-parenting under one roof ( the one we own together-mortgaged). Just wonder is anyone else doing this too? Does it work, and how?

Yabu- it'll never work

Yanbu- I'm doing it/ have seen the his set up work

I’ve seen this set up work for a few months but once one person wants a new partner it no longer works.

This. Nesting can sometimes work better for a longer period.

As your dc is so young, it may well be best to start planning now for a permanent split and move in to 2 separate homes.

Tried it. Not a chance it could work!

Agree with first poster. It’s fine early on/ until one of the parents decides to date and bring people around.
