Not great tbh.

DH died several months ago.
I think I’m burnt out.
I’m permanently exhausted, I have no support and the mental load of working full time, worrying about finances and dealing with late teenage & young adult DC is crippling me.
I just want a shower and to get in bed and just scroll, but Evri are now delivering later than when I first checked, so I’m going to have to stay presentable until at least 8pm.
I also still have to make food for DC to moan about, and I’ve just eaten a small Easter egg to myself.

I’m so sorry to hear that. My DH dies 15 months ago. It’s absolute pants isn’t it?

Our two children are adults, so I am on my own. They have been really supportive but when they go home, the house is really empty.

It is exhausting dealing with the sadmin and the shock. Do whatever makes you feel comfortable and sod everyone else.

They say it gets better, so let’s hope they are right.

So sorry to hear OP. It must be still very raw for you. Enjoy all the easter eggs guilt free, you deserve them 🤗
