To think these sentences are pathetic and don’t reflect the crimes ?

I think it's utterly disgusting that these vile people will be at liberty to continue their abhorrent crimes in 12 months or so.

with sentences like that what is to stop them starting again

It depends. I’m not clear from this whether the women were coerced/kidnapped/physically restrained/lied to to get them into prostitution (in which case these sentences are ridiculously low) or whether they chose to (I accept a constrained choice).

What do you think trafficked means?

Also this is why I will never be with men 'using' prostitues, they seem to have very little concern about if a woman is trafficked, and no way of checking to be sure. These men are OK with being rapists.

I don’t think it’s clear from the way the BBC reported it. Trafficked could certainly mean violently/against someone’s will/by deception but would it also be used for collaborating to conceal what the women intended to do from the border checks? I would have expected the BBC to give us some hint one way or another so that I can decide whether I’d throw away the key or impose some other punishment. It’s only that one word that is suggestive of violence and I think it could also be used to imply concealment.

I'm curious are they British born? If not why are we continuing to allow them the right to stay in our country

Shamefully pathetic sentencing suspended sentence especially considering that inciting riots gets you a custodial sentence
