To think it's strange she said her reaction was extreme

I had my first CAFCASS interview last week and explained why my DD (11) had refused contact with her Dad for the last year.

For context there were a few incidents leading up to a loss of control/anger from her Dad on front of her.

She won't be alone with him since then

CAFFCASS lady said she thought it was extreme for an 11 year old.

I said back she was very sure of what she was saying....

She has said ex has said I am overbearing, controlling DD and alienating her.

She is going to recommend child inclusive mediation or section 7.

I think I would sooner section 7 as we have already done family therapy.

It’s hard to say without knowing how bad the outburst was and what the back story was really

Alienation seems to be the new thing for men who don’t get their own way to attack single mothers with.
