Interested in what Cardiff is like as a place to live. What’s the general vibe ? Amenities ?

It’s a great city. Not many cities have a castle and a world class sports venue right in the centre It has a waterfront area, the Brecon Beacons are within easy reach. It has its problems like any other city but overall great vibe.

Also seems dynamic - for instance lots of young graduates from more rural parts of Wales either staying there or moving there after uni - sort of has plenty of fresh young blood and talent - almost like London on a vv small scale! Like people who want the capital city experience and lifestyle but would find London a step too far perhaps/too adventurous?
