I always love the jewellery threads and today I picked up a really special piece.

My great aunt had a large Topaz ring which I always loved and she specified that I get it when she died. I've finally got around to having it reset and I absolutely love it!

Can I see your pieces?

I have a ring from my late Mil, and also one from my late Granny in law , they were both lovely ladies and I find myself sometimes putting one of the rings on as I need a bit of Granny comforting!

Ah that's lovely!
I also have a ring my dad bought me for my 30th birthday which I wear when I want him around.
(Although really my sister bought it. He just paid!)

Bautiful ring, specially if it came from your family member. I love vintage rings and usually buy one for each celebrationGrin

They are all so beautiful 😍 are they all vintage? Any tips for buying?

Op your ring is stunning as well and suits your hands.

Thanks, yes those 3 are all vintage. I do also buy modern stacking rings. For vintage rings, if you are buying online from ebay, etsy etc, make sure you buy from reputable sellers (dealers), check their reviews and terms and conditions. I will never buy a piece of fine jewllery if seller doesnt allow return. Also I would ask for photos of ring being worn on a finger if they are not in the listing. It helps me to get an idea how big or small the ring really is and whether it would suit me.

That's a great tip!
