DH Broken Leg

Hello everyone!
My DH broke his leg last weekend and only came out of hospital on Friday afternoon; he is currently in a cast and is using a wheelchair to get around (thank goodness we have a downstairs bathroom) most of my time is spent looking after him and making sure he’s comfortable as he’s in some sort of pain. The children, DD 15, DD 12 and DS who is 6 have been incredible at dealing with it especially as he broke his leg in front of them; I know my daughters are older so can go out with friends over Easter but I feel so guilty that we’re not doing anything over the Easter break and feel more guilty that my oldest has exams coming up soon so would’ve been nice for us to do stuff as a family instead of staying in. Think I’m just having a few ramblings but if anyone has any suggestions I would be so grateful! Thank you

Can you online shop for some nice little chocolate eggs for an egg hunt, dye some real eggs with natural dyes and make imprints on them, that sort of thing (lots of how-to videos online) bake Simnal cake or hot cross buns, and make Easter a special family weekend at home?

Maybe ask your daughters to take the little one to the cinema?

Instead of eggs maybe treat them all to new books/films/video games depending on taste and interest?
