Just because somebody says something and it passes into common usage, doesn't mean it's fecking true.

For example "never attribute to malice what can be explained by incompetence" Who the fuck said that? I'm pretty sure they had malice on their mindHmm

'There are always two sides.' Sometimes there are- and sometimes one side is just a bully.

'You can’t control what people do or how they treat you. You can only control how you react to it.' (and variants of this). If 'controlling how you react' means taking active steps to avoid/ stop/ report abusive people, there may be some truth in it, bur usually it's used to mean that you have to accept other people's mistreatment cheerfully; a real bullies' charter..

'No one owes anyone anything in this life'- you do owe people common decency.
