Yet more police overreach

Ok so usual disclaimer/apologies for the mail link but this is a joke
So some man (probably the ex/father) complains to the police about this mum confiscating her dds ipads and she gets arrested for theft thrown in the cells for 7+ hours and then after a total of 12+ hours gets released on bail with conditions that she couldn't see or talk to her dds.
By the time she was bailed and the condition were put on her the police already knew that this was merely a parent reasonably disciplining her children yet they still chose to interfere with her parental responsibilities and potentially have her dds put into are if a suitable responsible adult couldn't be found.
I honestly don't know what bothers me more the blatant weaponization of the police or the callous disregard of the children's welfare.

Mother arrested for theft after confiscating her OWN children's iPads

A 50-year-old mother of two was left to stew in a police custody cell for more than seven hours after the confiscation of two iPads belonging to her children saw her accused of theft.

What a waste of police time.

I suspect there is more to this story than written.

There could be, but I wouldn't bet on it, I think the police are more than capable of acting exactly as described.

Be careful OP. Half a dozen officers might turn up at your door for being unkind about them. The police's priorities are completely fucked.
