I am watching CBB and there seems to of been a falling out between Michael Fabricant and Patsy Palmer as she asked why he wears that daft wig.

I am not Grrr Tories but Fabricant cos playing as Boris Johnson will always bring attention to that thing on his head.

I've met michael fabricant several times. It's most definitely a wig and it looks ridiculous

It does look very obvious but it's still a tad impolite to mention it.

I don't think I've ever seen Michael Fabricant and not laughed at his wig.

It looks like he got it in a fancy dress shop but she did come across quite rude when she said it. I don't think she meant it nastily but she has a very direct way of talking.

I'm not a fan of the guy, but it's really rude to remark on people's appearance like that. I felt a bit sorry for him.

Those saying he had cancer and that's the reason for the wig, he wore the wig long before his cancer diagnosis. They are not connected.

But, you usually keep those opinions to yourself. It's rude to say them out loud! There's a difference between commenting to your partner about it Vs being outright rude to someone's face.

I have also seen Michael Fabricant in the flesh too, and he was immediately identifiable across a crowded room because of his extremely obvious wig

Didn't know he had cancer

There are so many good wigs and hair pieces available now, almost undetectable, so I wonder why he chose this particular one, which couldn't look more false and obvious if he put a dead cat on his head. Surely he must know, being inside the CBB house, that the question was going to be asked eventually.

Really curious about this as well, it looms like he used to have natural blond hair so I wonder when he started wearing the wig. Could be that he has trichotillomania or something like that.

I don't know why he doesn't get a proper posh modern looking one. His isn't even made of human hair I don't think? It's like one of those wigs you see in carry on films from the early sixties?!

He's had that style of wig for years long before Bozzer was an MP and well known.

One would never normally comment on a man or woman wearing a bad wig but honestly it has always looked as though he's deliberately wearing the most awful one he can find - sort of seeking to draw attention to it.

He's surely had the money over the years to buy decent wigs, if he wants to cover up baldness, scarring, misshapen head or whatever.

No, he admits it's had help, and costs a fortune, but just says its not a wig. So could be a hair 'system' or whatever they call them. Pictures of him very young show a full head of bright blond hair, natural looking, so I imagine either as he got older (or other reasons, like illness) it thinned or something and he enhances it.
And it is rude to point it out if he didn't raise it first. But she is a particularly rude person.
