Just that really. Taking 8 kids to Go Ape for son's 10th birthday. Do I have to do party bags or have they grown out of those now?

YABU - do the bags, tightwad.
YANBU - it's ok, you've done your party bag time, you can stop now.

I bought a load of plastic smoothie type tubs off amazon and filled them with small chiclaye bars, sweets and lollies from B&M/home bargains. I think I got personalised stickers with "thanks for coming to my party from birthday child" to stick on the whole on the top of the lid. That and a piece of cake, job done.

As others have said, a big bag of Haribos will be just fine. Simple and easy.

My kids 9 now and the party bags were still a huge hit. But I got them slightly more older stuff. Depends on the kids really. I just love making the party bags up so I'm biased 😆. I didn't do sweet cones though as allergies as I would have to ensure the sweets were halal / kosher all individually. So a pinata full of one type that I knew would cater for everyone was easier
