To think Zara is the “New TopShop?”

in terms of it being full of middle class “mean girls” that stare at and judge you while you shop? TopShop had a big reputation for this when it was around and it seems that Zara seems to have taken over that demographic whenever I go in there? Anyone else feel the same?

You are about 15 years behind.

But I’m not even sure Zara is the big brand among teens now tbh, I’d say it’s popular with a slightly older crowd who aren’t really in ‘mean girls’ territory.

Never get that vibe in my local Zara.

OnlyMabelInTheBuilding · 11/04/2025 07:02

Ahh you’re the poster who also thinks the staff in McDonald’s give you attitude?

Maybe it’s you.

notacooldad · 11/04/2025 07:03

No, I'm not getting that vibe at all.
I love a lot of things in Zara but I'm part of the older crowd and I never was a mean girl.

EffortlesslyInelegant · 11/04/2025 07:13

You're doing a lot of 'thinking' today. U ok hun?

skippy67 · 11/04/2025 07:24

No, just you.

SoftPillow · 11/04/2025 07:27

My local Zara is friendly and gives no mean girl vibes. It’s a total mix of teens, mums, professionals, bored boyfriends, kids, students, tourists etc.

Maybe it’s you?

I think Zara is more popular with millennial office workers.

I buy very little there, but on the few occasions I have, the staff were exceptionally rude.

Happyinarcon · 11/04/2025 08:41

To be honest I have never walked into any shop ever and got mean girl vibes
