Anyone ever done a click and collect at a near by supermarket at centre Parcs.
We are going to the Elveden one and I see a Sainsbury’s near by.
How does it work with check in? As you check in with your car to your lodge at 4pm. Then how long till you have to take your car back to the car park?
I’ve never done this before but had people advising me to do a click and collect there to save money.

You can take the car through into late evening, it is busy in the car park at check in time so it can be actually better to wait until a bit later so you are not waiting in a queue.

What do you want to know about click and collect? It’s just as if you’re doing it at any supermarket.

Thetford Tesco is where most people go. Personally I find the Parc Market fine. We take some food from home and just buy the rest there. It’s Co Op sort of pricing.

click and collect will be the same as any supermarket, your order, choose your collection timeslot then collect.

i don’t know anything about cars, lodges and car parks but I don’t see what it’s got to do with click and collect.

We normally pop into Sainsbury's before we actually go into the park.
It's usually chaotic with arriving cars so never fancied checking in, getting to the lodge unpacking and then trying to get out again. Once checked in you have to leave your car in the main car park so would have to carry shopping to your lodge
My DCs still laugh about being buried under loaves of bread on the final stretch from Sainsbury's to Eleven as we hadn't left enough room in the boot for shopping as well as luggage 🤣

Because you can’t take your car to the lodges after a certain time so you would have to walk there with the bags of shopping. I believe you have until 9pm though.

I’m confused too. The answer is, book click and collect, pick your stuff up, drive to your lodge.

I still don’t understand what this has to do with click and collect. Surely you just collect your shopping on the way?

Book click and collect at nearby Sainsbury’s or Tesco, collect half an hour before you want to arrive at Center Parcs. Drive to villa, unload everything including shopping, return car to car park and walk back to villa.

If you arrive earlier in the day you would have to leave the car in the car park then leave site to go to the supermarket and be back in time for checking in to your lodge. OP didn’t know what window of time she had to do so.

if you brought the shopping with you, it could be sitting in the car for hours.
