Has anyone actually managed to buy the M & S chocolate covered custard Cream Easter egg ?

is it unreasonable to expect companies who advertise products to have the bloody product . I’ve been into our local large branch numerous times as I know someone who would love it and it’s never on the shelves , only an empty space and a notice saying arriving soon . Finally asked yesterday and it’s unlikely to be back in stock , gah .
I do realise I’m over invested in this . Annoying .

It’s alright you aren’t missing much. I had one a few weeks ago and it was alright but I wouldn’t get another one even if they had it in stock

I know someone who got one when it first came out - they said it was nothing like a custard cream at all, more like a giant kinder bar type of thing? Which I'd still enjoy, to be fair!

I was in an M and S simply food the other day, and they had some - I noticed because of a thread on here. It didn’t look all that exciting!

I remember thinking in the past that one or two of the things advertised at Christmas looked nice but they were never in stock jn store or online. So I don't bother now.

No, dd and I checked some of the central London stores on Saturday. All out of stock. We did buy the other round one in the purple box. We opened it yesterday (I know too early…) and it had visually shrunk from a two years ago. Not worth £12 imo.

Tastes exactly like a kinder egg. Nothing remotely custard-creamy about it at all.

Yep, I bought a couple and the biscuit shaped ones, and the half egg with pretzels/mini eggs/jellies/popcorn

No. I haven't been searching high and low for it but I've called in to the M and S food shop whenever I've passed and they've never had it. I've looked for the rolled pistachio eggs too and never managed to get those. I've tried the biscuit one, which was gorgeous. There seems to be no shortage of that one.

Yes I picked one up for a friends son. Visited two shops in one day and then revisited one of them
the following day. Got it on the second visit. This was about 3/4 weeks ago though.

im more annoyed they seem to be out of the mini egg cookies before I got a chance to get them.
