Husband interrupting our conversations to speak to his friends.

Willing to be told I’m being unreasonable…

This evening I was telling my husband about a serious family matter I’m dealing with and asking for advice. Mid conversation, he gets a call from his friend - if this was me, I would call my friend back once we had finished the conversation, or answer to make sure it wasn’t urgent then tell my friend I’d call them back. However, my husband decided to take this call in the middle of our conversation. It was just a casual call from his friend, nothing urgent, but this went on to be a long phone conversation (about an hour long). This makes me feel very unimportant and like he doesn’t really care about what I have to say. He does have a pattern of taking calls while I’m in the middle of speaking without saying ‘hold on one second’ or something, which I personally find a bit rude, however in the past he has never done this during a serious conversation.

Am I being unreasonable to find this rude? I haven’t said anything to him as I want to make sure I’m not overreacting.

I'd say it's factor dependent
Was he aware of the level of seriousness, how deep in conversation were you into the topic?
Is crisis and serious stuff happening frequently re the family matter?
Is it yours and his immediate family or your extended family as in parents/siblings?

Seriously rude and disrespectful.
I would be very unhappy at this.
