Just wondering does anyone wear kids trainers ? I’m only a size 4 and I love the addidas gazelle trainers, very expensive, kids are cheaper…is they a difference?

No theres no difference, you just don’t pay VAT on kids ones.

Ok thank you

Yes! I'm only a side 3 so get the kids' version. Sometimes there's a slight difference in style but some are exactly the same, just cheaper.

All the time!!!

saves you a fortune when your feet are small enough for ‘kids sized’ shoes - no vat…

try them on - if they fit - buy them!!!

I do if I can. I'm a 5 so some kids ranges go up to my size and some don't

MintTwirl · 21/03/2025 18:44

Occasionally they are narrower but otherwise they are fine! I have small feet too.

Mumof1andacat · 21/03/2025 18:47

I always buy kids trainers. I'm a size 4

Sugarcube84 · 21/03/2025 18:49

I do, like others say they sometimes run narrower which is great for my narrow feet plus they are cheaper I’m a size 3/4 depending on brand.

TheFairyCaravan · 21/03/2025 18:55

Yes, I’m a 5 and wear kids shoes all the time.

FeelinTwentySixPointTwo · 21/03/2025 18:59

They're fine for everyday shoes but not for running shoes, as kids' running shoes aren't made to anything like the same standards as adults (eg cushioning and so on). It's a real shame as tried to get away with this in the past myself, and found out through trial and error that they're very different!

Absolutely! I tend to avoid the Peppa pig ones, but the sports brands are just as good and significantly cheaper.
