DH smokes (outside) and vapes in an attempt to reduce how much he smokes. I've repeatedly asked him not to vape around DD in the house or car but I keep catching him or DD tells me that he's vaped in the car.
A few times I've gone to check on DD after she's gone asleep and found his vape in her bed after he's put her to bed, he claims he hasn't vaped around her and its fallen out of his pocket, perfectly possible of course, but I said if he cant make sure he doesn't misplace he's to leave it downstairs, he's not using after all is he??
The next time I I found it I told him it would be going in the bin, sure enough a few days later I find it in her bed so in the bin it goes. After looking for it he asks me if he's seen it and I tell him in its in the bin as promised, he's annoyed and goes and gets it out.
Last night I went to check on DD and again the vape is in bed. Id had a bad day, Im in the throws of peri-menopausal PMT so I threw it out the window - obviously this is bat-shit reaction so Im BU there but honestly how hard is it? He thinks Im being totally unreasonable and its not that big a deal?
AIBU that I think he should keep the vape where he can supervise it and not vape around DD?
