I get it can be fun sometimes to do something with friends but when it comes to trips i prefer them alone with my partner because i don’t know, it feels less plannings to do. And odds of only being one of to join so it may end up with thirdwheeling. So it be awkward when i rather just be a couple trip. I love my friends but most time i prefer meet them by myself than including them to much into my relationship. I feel even if my bf says he is introvert he is more extrovert than me. I mean he tries to ask lol but looks a bit dissapointed when i tell him nah. He gets along with them so i guess he likes their company aswell group of 3 guys and my female friend.

Why doesn’t he organise weekends away for you both with his friends? I appreciate you prefer it to be just you two, but if he wants a group weekend why does it have to be with your friends?

I will never understand any couples who can’t go anywhere on their own! Sure it’s great to occasionally go away with friends but so many people I know go with the same people everywhere - I don’t get it. Couple time is so important.

Yes, why are you doing the planning and inviting?
