I will start in saying I'm no expert in politics, however my opinion/trust of governments world wide has gone down sense covid times. (For context I'm Duel Nationality so take interest in other nations).
It just seems to me that more lately the government are not listening to the people that are on the ground working in grass routes jobs, charity organisations, NHS, for example they want people in work but haven't planned a way to increase the Job market (often people are doing the job of 2 people as companies can't afford to replace people) then with shops, small businesses, factories, ect closing down, where are people going to find local jobs, to fit around child care ect.

So it seems to me the the government has a lot of ideas on how to boast the economy etc, however they don't have any realistic plans in place to support the general public to achieve their plans.

My opinion is all politicians are slippery self serving power hungry liars and you are kidding yourself if you really think politicians serve their constituents.

You are not being unreasonable.

Scummy politicians exist only to line their own pockets. Civil servants are even worse.

They will steal from the public at every given opportunity. If people didn’t learn this after Covid, then there is no hope for the stupid.

More fool you, if you believe anything that politicians tell you to believe.
