DD2 moved back home February 24 and I went from single occupancy to paying full council tax reported it as soon as she came back.
Over the years both Dds have moved out going to university then moving back and then out again I have always been transparent and reported it when they have came back. I was single occupancy for a year before DD2 moved back February 24.
DD2 now on a sabbatical from work has gone travelling for the next six months don't know if she will move back in with me or friends when she returns. and I registered to go to single occupancy from that date.
Again totally transparent saying I have no forwarding address as she has gone travelling for 6 months.
My council have not rewarded me single occupancy various emails going back and forth with me saying she has gone for 6 months and I'm not sure if she will return to my property.
Council are saying as it's temporary and I won't have to change again they havnt took me back down to single occupancy when I have been living alone since 27th December 2024. I'm not sure how to progress from here and think it's unfair.
