People who loudly talk on their phone over train announcements

Should be unceremoniously kicked off the bloody train. AIBU? (At a station obviously! I'm not suggesting we kill them 😆)
On my way to a job interview. Train just stops outside station. Driver makes an announcement but NOBODY in my area of the carriage can hear what he's saying because theres a selfish woman speaking LOUDLY on her phone the whole time. So nobody has any idea if we're likely stuck for 2 minutes or 30.
Aagh how can anyone be so selfish and oblivious?

I would kick them off regardless of announcements.

We need to be more like Japan.

So frustrating. I have been in this situation with a regular commuter. I even knew when her smear test was 🙄 She was an awful person too who actively shoved past me when my arm was clearly in plaster

A few weeks back there was a guy on the station platform having a very loud conversation about how well he was performing in his [yadda yadda some corporate bullshit].

Very clearly for the benefit of other commuters so we were fully aware of what auspicious company we were in.

Then there was was a platform change announcement. But Mr Big Shot didn't hear it because of his little phone performance and so missed the train. It was hilarious and served him right. Cunt.
