Sometimes a thread disappears and there's a message from Mumsnet 'this thread is hidden while Mumsnet take a look behind the scenes'. Usually the threads then just end.
Anyway, AIBU to find it confusing why it takes such a long time for Mumsnet to 'look behind the scenes'?
There was a thread I was enjoying yesterday which disappeared while Mumsnet looked into it. They are still looking into it, it would seem.
I mean, what exactly are they looking at? Surely it takes just a couple of minutes to look at the posters history and determine if they r a genuine poster or whatever?
What's the hold up? What exactly are Mumsnet looking at that takes days??
