Anyone heard of DNV animal rescue charity? Based in Bosnia. Any experiences? Is it trust worthy? Asking for a fee of £400 to transport dog and pay for various other expenses.

Importing a feral street mutt, trafficked from half way across Europe.

What could possibly go wrong. 🙄

Blues Rescue has an adoption fee of £450. All of our dogs are fully health checked, vaccinated, ID chipped with pet passports. We do not make any money from the dogs at all. The charity exists to rehome dogs who are homeless. The transportation is very expensive and is not set by the rescue. If you are charged more than this fee then I surmise the rescue is making money from you. That should never be the idea and is certainly not the policy of Blues Rescue.
I was a qualified veterinary nurse for 17 years, in 1st and 2nd opinion practise, since then I have devoted much of my time to helping dogs abroad to find loving homes. We have rehomed over 200 dogs in 7 years, to UK and mainland Europe, without any issues whatsoever.

@Bernie62

The Op isn't in a position to adopt or buy any dog from anywhere as she has another thread about needing freeholder's permission to have a dog etc. as she and her boyfriend are renting.

Anyway after considering a rescue dog from abroad, her latest thread about renting was wanting to buy a dachshund from someone on Facebook - says it all really...
