I’m so disappointed to see that Abbey Cohen has done an interview with the Daily Mail in the wake of her ex husband’s split with ‘the Russian’.

She had maintained such a dignified silence for all these years. The interview is cheap and tacky and I’m sorry to say she looks awful, full of goodness knows what. What was she thinking?

She’s probably been paid a lot of money for the article. While it would be more dignified to stay out of it she’s likely been offered a lot of money and has thought it’s my last chance - why not. It’s grubby but she won’t be in the papers again I’d say.

She's always brought into any article or anything that happens in her exes life, I think it's fair after 12 years and what was done to her.

Why not if they paid her good money, she might as well get something from the situation.

The pair of them are as bad as each other. Zero class.

She probably got paid a wad of money, useful when she has two children to support and whose father is now bankrupt and unlikely to be able to contribute in any meaningful way.

As for your criticism of her looks 1. Who are you to judge and 2. She has recently been through treatment for cancer.

Good for her, I can't imagine she's getting much in terms of maintenance from Ben. She's maintained a dignified silence for a long time and I'd say she's more than allowed to have her voice heard.

The fact that he didn’t reach out to her, the mother of his children, when she went through cancer, says far more about his character than the affair he had. Reading between the lines, and the ‘no comment’ remarks, it seems he’s behaved like a twat for the past 12 years, and I would imagine it’s been cathartic for her to get it out there. Maybe the media now they’ve got a their interview won’t continue with assumptions of what her thoughts are, and all of them can move on with no more comments or intrusions.

She has been really ill, cancer treatment is brutal and ageing, so slagging off her looks is pretty unpleasant behaviour

I just looked her up. Ive never heard of her before this but it seems like she was publicly ditched by her husband, left with young children and has had cancer? Do you have to stay classy throughout all of that? It seems like it would be pretty hard to keep things classy while the tabloids are raking through your life, you may as well cash in on it because they will be writing about you with or without your input.

I think she looks great, I wouldn't say no to looking like her when I'm knocking 50.

I mean it's not what I'd probably do but I imagine she's been getting doorstepped quite a bit since the story broke and the advice in that situation is usually to give an interview to one paper because then the rest of them bugger off.

Also I've seen Ben and Kristina grinning away on the cover of Hello magazine more than once so they certainly have no room to criticise, should they feel so inclined.

Meh, she's had many years of her name being splattered in the tabloid press and never spoken up. I think she deserves to share her story.

It must be really hard to be the ex of someone in the public eye because every time something happens with them the press will be hammering on your door for a quote, or making stuff up anyway.

Ant McPartlins ex is another I feel sorry for over this kind of carry on. Even though she's never given an interview or spoken publicly the press always seem to be combing over her social media and reporting "cryptic" meaning behind her posts. Just leave the poor woman alone FFS.

I can remember her giving some interviews back then but it was obvious that she was blindsided, hurt, publicly humiliated and scared witless and B&K weren't exactly acting guilty or keeping a low profile.

No real difference to the wife of Joe Bloggs ranting on her SM pages in the same situation.

I remember at the time watching Bens Pasa Doble dance live on Strictly. The sexual tension was unbelievably obvious and the cameras panned to Abbey in the audience..you could see she saw it too. She looked devastated.
It was a car crash moment.
Not any sort of fan of hers but losing your husband so publicly must of been hell.

Nah, I think it’s a fairly dignified interview. She’s had cancer, her ex probably hasn’t paid any maintenance for a long time, she probably thought she may as well get some money this time seeing as her name has been dragged into it all again.

I don't think it's the flex she thinks it is. Sure, she was shit on from a great height but it's also been 12 years. I'd hope if I were in that situation I'd have moved on enough that I wouldn't give a shiny shite what my ex and his OW were doing. This screams the opposite. Good for her if she's happy, but I'd hazard that people who are truly happy wouldn't feel the need to sell their story in the Daily Mail.
