Advice re move to Patcham, Brighton

We are looking to move from a rental flat in Hove to buy a house in Patcham, we are 2 young professionals with a one year old. I wondered if anyone can offer any insights into Patcham as an area, and in particular what the schools are like please? We love the villagey community feel of the area.

I’ve lived in central Hove for decades so don’t know Patcham that well, but from everything I’ve heard it’s lovely. Sorry I can’t offer more detailed advice - your post is obviously very specific.

Hi we’ve lived in Patcham for many years and we love it here. Depending on where in Patcham you end up living, your child could be in either Patcham Infants or Carden Primary, both very good schools. Let me know if you would like any more info.
