Hi all,

If you're a young woman or have a daughter, niece etc please consider watching this series on Channel 5 - Prime Suspect: Hunting the Predators or watching it with them.

There are 3 episodes, all are hard to watch.

Basically young girls/women sent a nude selfie/video and are then blackmailed to provide more & more with the acts required of them getting more and more degrading.

Some women sent identifying info to prove they were over 16, others are tracked down on social media.

It isn't one person doing this, each episode deals with a different predator. There are 3 episodes.

The areas talked about include being forced to do degrading acts including incest and involves children/teenagers as well.

Like I say they are a hard watch but I think girls/women need to be aware that sending a nude selfie to someone you don't know can have far reaching effects that they/you would ever think about.

Thanks will have a look. How do they persuade the women/girls to send the first nude selfie? I wouldn't send one to my DH let alone any other number

In some cases it was just by chatting on social media, with episode 3 it's mainly through a sugar daddy website that students signed up to.

people should just be taught to not share nudes, or quite simply anything you'd not want your boss to see.
