I unfortunately got a CCJ a few years ago when I was not monitoring my finances well enough. Once I realised that I had one I paid it off in full and then applied for an n2444 to have it set aside. After not hearing for a while from the court I contacted them today to be told the hearing was on the 31st January and that as I didn’t attend it was not heard.
I did not receive any information letter informing me of this. I’m so upset. The n2444 costs almost £300 and as I didn’t know the hearing was happening I’ve lost that and the ccj wasn’t set aside.
I have complained to the court but they won’t entertain it. I didn’t get the letter!
what can I do?
