Some tests can detect pregnancy 3 days early yes, but not all. And a negative 3 days before period doesn’t mean not pregnant, it could just be too soon.

Honestly why would you. I think lots of anxiety and upset results from such early testing. In some ways the days of testing only once a period or even two have been missed was easier. No torturing of oneself about lost extremely early pregancies of which some would have been non viable. DOI I have only had two positive pregancy tests and have two kids. I have also had two late and unusually heavy periods. They are no more than that n my mind

I tested positive on a digital at 11-12dpo. 2-3 days before my period was due.

Oh, the days when you went to the GP to be tested, and by the time you were asking the GP to test you, you knew you were pregnant anyway.

I tested negative 3 days before my period was due and positive on the date it was due. Some tests may pick up a positive that early- but as you can see the test may not be accurate if it comes out negative....

I’ve only had one very early positive and that’s because I ovulated very early in my cycle. Like almost immediately after my last period finished. We’d only done it once in the previous 3 odd weeks - our eldest had been poorly and then I spent the next couple of weeks feeling like I’d been hit by a bus. I’m shocked the pregnancy stuck to be honest, but it added up as he was bigger than expected at the 12 week scan (was measuring 15 weeks!). However, first response type tests can give you a positive if you are, all depends on when you ovulated. My first was about the day I was due my period, my last was about a week after when I realised I hadn’t started.

I've always waited until after my period was due to test. If your period arrives, then you know you're not pg and saved yourself the cost snd hassle of testing.

I started bleeding about a week after my period was due. It lasted 6wks. The result is 3 in 3 months time.
