hi i’m just seeing if this has happened to anyone else before im asking on behalf of my friend
she is currently in receipt of pip but she has her letter through last week she can’t fill it in she gets to confused and she has bad carpel tunnel her hands are completely numb so unable to she has anxiety depression and bunch of other stuff
she didn’t fill in the first forms when she applied they just give her a assessment
so i said to her today just ring pip up and explain to them you are struggling i would of helped but i am no good at paper work im awful have no clue with pip either anyway she rang pip in a state explained she cant do it and they put her through like a case worker or something like that not sure they said they are going to ring her tomorrow and fill the forms in over the phone with her and then send the filled form back to her she needs to sign it and send it back to them she is worried as the forms need to be back before 22/03/25
im sure they will put a extension on it and sure it will be on the system she has been given help to do this
she’s due her next payment on the 27.03.25 and said she worried incase the stop the payments but like i’ve explained to her i’m sure her payments will continue until the review it compete
her pip ends november 2025
has anyone had any help like this before ?
she did say the lady on the phone said they don’t normally do this but in special circumstances they will she did have a marker on her last report saying she will need help with forms going forward
