GP practice messed up - again!

Why are GP practices allowed to screw up several times, badly, thus effecting a hospital appointment for a scan (potential tumor/cancer), then not apologise or sort it out, expecting the patient to fix their mess and then getting pissy when the patient gets upset?

They aren't "allowed to". Mine don't. So it isn't all GP practices. If you have a complaint about yours then complain to the practice manager.

Am doing but this doesn't help me right now when I need the bloods form to be correct in order to have a blood test in order to have a scan. They not only filled in the form incorrectly, they also didn't book my appointment for the bloods to be taken correctly on their system (even though they wrote down the day and time for me) and can't give me a new appointment until it is too late. They expect me to ring around for a new appointment elsewhere and go elsewhere for it!
