Bill split maths

Hi, I am posting her for traffic because I can't for the life of me work out this upcoming restaurant bill situation. It seems quite simple so I don't know why my brain won't work! I blame menopause!

Please could someone help me work this out:

Four friends and I are going out for lunch. It's a fixed price for lunch £35 and a £5 deposit p/head is needed. We will likely order extra food, so it won't work out to £35 each.

I have paid £25, which covers our full deposit.

When the bill comes, how do we work out who pays what? Do we divide the total amount by five BEFORE the deposit is removed and then I remove £25 from my share of the bill? Is that right?

Thank you from a confused head!!

divide by 5. remove 20 from your bill add 5 to every else.

Or they send you £5 now and on the day you divide by 5.

So divide the bill equally when it comes. Then they all pay an extra fiver and you take the £20 off your share. So you have paid your own £5 deposit. And they have all paid their £5 deposit too.

Thank you all!
