I used to be fat in my late teens and then Lost weight , got fit , maintained a size ten for seven years , after my last pregnancy 4 years ago I've hung on to just over 3 stone 😭 I'm absolutely miserable and can't get back to how I use to eat , I try every single day 😢 I'm going on holiday at end of August and honestly if I'm not back at my old weight I'm not going , what are the chances of getting back to about 11 stone 10 in nearly 6 months from 15 stone 😢 also worry massively about hair loss as I lost most of my hair that seen me go down to 8 stone in my early 20s and I'm still traumatised by it if I'm honest so I defo will not be crash dieting or reducing kcals below 1500 I'm 5 foot 10 , is it doable 😭

You’d need to seriously reduce your portion sizes, increase your exercise, but it’s doable. Why are you experiencing hair loss? Selenium is recommended for this, plus a focus on protein. Brazil nuts are a good source.

I’m doing a combination of Intermittent fasting and the 12 week fast800 programme as I would prefer not to take the weight loss jabs. I am also walking more and trying to do the exercise programme that comes with the fast800. I have lost 6kg in the 1st 4 weeks. I’m actually enjoying the food and have currently got control of my snacking habits. Maybe have a look? They say 3 stone loss in the 12 weeks is doable.

That's 46 pounds and around 24 weeks. So you're aiming to lose 2 pounds a week, which you'd need to be in a calorie deficit of 7,000 calories a week to hit. It's doable but you'd need to be aiming to be 1,000 calories a day below your TDEE (there are online calculators you can use to work out yours) which might not leave you a lot to play with.
Depending on how you feel about weight loss injections, on mounjaro I've been losing a smidge over 2 pounds a week and am close to three stone lost since November, although from a higher starting weight.

Try an iron tablet. Really helped my thinning but previously very thick hair get back to its usual self.

Is that cause or correlation though? Rapid weight loss can cause hair loss so it may well be that rather than the jabs themselves.
Ita not something I've experienced myself on them, although that's a study group of one.

Keto.

If you were crash dieting were you actually starving yourself of necessary nutrients? If you embarked on a serious healthy eating plan there isn’t any rational reason that your hair would fall out. A good multivitamin and mineral supplement might be reassuring.

Good luck. Also it is very punitive on yourself to say you won’t go on holiday unless you’ve lost 3 stone. Maybe be kinder to yourself and look at getting slimmer and fitter for your holiday and focus on having a good time along the way. No holiday was ever made unbearable by an extra stone but was by becoming obsessed by weight and appearance.
